The Conservatorium Mid North Coast is an Incorporated Association dedicated to furthering the musical talent of the Mid North Coast of NSW. The conservatorium is composed of 3 Chapters:- Greater Taree Great Lakes Port Macquarie-Hastings
Representatives from each Chapter are nominated to the Board of Management which provides oversight to the operations of the individual chapters.
Vision StatementA vibrant, creative, cohesive and active music and
performing arts culture across the Greater Taree, Port Macquarie-Hastings and
Great Lakes Local Government Areas that embraces and supports the need for
quality music education and understands links with the broader arts, community
development and creative industries sectors.

To develop and sustain a program of quality music and
performing arts teaching, development and performance that provides access for
all, and creates ongoing collaborations with the broader arts, community and
creative industries sectors. Aims
Conservatorium Mid North Coast has the following aims: - To provide access to quality music teaching for
a large range of instruments, voice types and musical styles, for persons of
all age
- To encourage and facilitate involvement in and
appreciation of music;
- To offer sequential, graded and relevant music
curricula which reflect student interests and needs
- To prepare students for music, vocal, speech and
drama examinations, and for relevant tertiary programs;
- To create strong partnerships with both
government and non-government schools and programs across the target area; and
- To stimulate the development of creative
expression, self-esteem and social interaction through music.
