Established community groups are invited to apply to become ensembles of the Conservatorium Mid North Coast. Join the Con and function as a unit of the Conservatorium, and provide the necessary ensemble playing experience for students of the Conservatorium, as well as providing a focus for the efforts of individual music tutors in furthering the musical progression of the region. By utilising existing groups with demonstrated financial sustainability and social presence within the community, the CMNC can avoid unnecessary duplication of these services and potential undermining of these strong community organisations.  At this stage, the CMNC has received support for this concept from community ensembles including concert bands, orchestras, as well as choral groups from the Port Macquarie Hastings, Taree and Great Lakes areas. The Board has created an Ensemble Joining Policy to assist ensembles in deciding if they wish to affiliate. This policy, "Affiliate Ensemble Join-up Terms and Conditions", is available for download at the bottom of this page. Further the Board has developed a 'Deed of Agreement' to exist between Ensemble(s) and CMNC detailing what each will do for the other.
