Accreditation of TutorsThe Conservatorium Mid North Coast is now offering accreditation for private music teachers under an Interim Accreditation Program. (Contact is Executive Officer Mr Michael Scott.)It is the intention of this interim program to provide the general public and potential students with the assurance that all CMNC accredited music tutors have achieved a minimum level of competency of Grade 6 AMEB (or equivalent). The interim program offers a number of pathways to achieve accreditation. All Accredited Tutors are required to follow the Code of Conduct for Accredited Music Tutors. Accredited music tutors will be recorded on a public register to be made available to potential students within their areas. Individual tutors may promote themselves as being an "Accredited Conservatorium Mid North Coast Tutor" for their own publicity purposes. Prospective tutors should complete the Application for Accreditation form which can be returned to the Executive Officer direct or via email. (see our 'Contacts' page.) Tutor Administrative Support (TAS) Program.The ProgramThe CMNC is providing an administrative support service to tutors who wish to avail themselves of the service.The details of services will be arranged with each Tutor individually subject to directions agreed by CMNC.
